Avocados and Bananas are not endemic to Canary Islands. Before Spain colonized these islands they were poblated by Amazigh - Berber tribes of Northern Africa. 


Their name means FREE PEOPLE. If you ever travel here, please respect your surroundings, locals and nature, as well as the weather - sometimes tourists die.  

Neither am I Amazigh nor you, but I grew up here and I also do belong there - and maybe you will come back in future to grow some fruitfull seeds on volcanic ashes.
